How to Measure Your Feet at Home (No Tools Needed)
•MyTrueSize Team
Buying shoes online is risky if you don't know your exact foot length in centimeters (CM). Brands define "Size 10" differently, but 28cm is always 28cm.
What You Need
- A piece of paper (A4)
- A wall
- A pen or pencil
- A ruler or tape measure
Step-by-Step Guide
-
Place the paper against the wall.
Make sure the short edge touches the wall perfectly. Tape it down if possible. -
Stand on the paper.
Place your heel firmly against the wall. Wear the socks you plan to wear with your new shoes. -
Mark the longest toe.
Use the pen to draw a line at the tip of your longest toe (it might not be the big toe!). Keep the pen vertical. -
Measure the length.
Use your ruler to measure the distance from the edge of the paper (heel) to the line you drew. Write down the CM value.
💡 Crucial Tip
Measure BOTH feet. Most people have one foot slightly larger than the other. Always buy shoes for your larger foot.
Convert CM to Size
Once you have your CM measurement, add 0.5cm to 1cm for toe room, then check the size chart. Or simpler: enter your brand and size in our converter to see the CM equivalent.
